We just love love love this Flicker.
What a beautiful chest! They are so much fun to watch. They perch in our big tree until the time is right and then swoop down in the yard. They seem to love red pepper suet.
Somebody ate all the suet...... The Starlings are the back yard pigs. I had groups of 10 Starlings at a time all day long and one Northern Flicker. I love the Starlings too, they linger awhile and entertain.
